Does "Don't You Forget About Me" by Simple Minds Make Anyone Else Feel All Cool and Rebellious a la John Bender?

Here is a picture of me in the ego dress in 1998.

This is me and my aunt at my cousin's wedding, taking a "See Food" picture for my mom, who couldn't be there. Yes, we're a classy, classy family.

The lesson I have learned today is not to try to walk a mile and a half in my new $7 Payless sandals. They're very comfortable otherwise, but not for long walks. I have two blisters, one on each foot. However, if you have to have a blister...

My parents stuffed a Mary Engelbreit first aid kit in my stocking last Christmas, and really, who doesn't want a good dose of cuteness when in pain?

Lastly,Happy Birthday, Slurpee! On my next splurge day I am totally indulging in some of your frozen Cherry Coke goodness!

When I first saw the picture I went ahead and assumed you must have very large teeth. Thanks for the clarification.

I'm on the left - I've always been brunette. Except for the last year and a half when I was more of a dark auburn.

Although now that I look at it, Luanne looks pretty brunette too, but she usually looks a lot more blonde than me.

Awww, a boo boo! I just knew the Mary Cherry strips would come in handy some day. I love those Cherry Cola Slurpees. I remember when all you could get were Icees and we all used to walk a mile and 1/2 to get one of the two flavors - cherry or lime. True dedication.

love the band-aid!!! haven't seen those before, and since we go through probably a box a week in my house, I'm shocked!

They're super cute. I don't know where my parents got them though. They read this. Mom? Dad? A little help?
