I took the MPRE today. That's the professional responsibility exam that all future lawyers have to take. In Massachusetts you have to take the exam and pass it before taking the Bar exam. So it's kind of important. I totally feel like I failed. I don't really know what more I could have done, short of memorizing the 150 page outline they gave us (and yes, I realize there are probably some psycho people who do that, but I am just not one of them). I studied so much and I still feel like there were too many answers I was unsure about. Well, one of my friends feels like she did poorly too so since they grade on a curve maybe I have a shot.
So I've determined what's wrong with online dating. Here's my theory. In real life, you meet someone and usually there's some sort of spark, right? Then you get to know each other and find out if you have things in common, if you want the same things, if you're intellectually, mentally and emotionally suited. OR you're friends first and romance blossoms. But there's usually some underlying sexual tension all along - at least that's been my experience. When you're online dating, it's like checking out someone's resume. They look great on paper! Wow, you like the same TV shows, you're both educated and want the same things, etc. Then you meet - no spark. Sigh, back to the drawing board. The whole set up is backwards, really. This is my reason why it's not working for me - not that I'm a loser.
