(This isn't a story, but is about the ABC show, which is blatantly steeped in Disney)
All right, this will be a ridiculous post, but I've been stewing over these few things and just need to write them down so I can stop thinking about them.
Jason and I just finished season 2 of Once Upon A Time, which, I have to say, took a precipitous drop in quality from season 1. Yeah, the sets and costuming are still gorgeous, but the story is taking this meandering path and the show has decided to co-opt every imaginary world or thing ever written or put on screen ever, which is getting a little annoying.
But the main problem for me with season 2 is this whole trying to make Regina (aka the Evil Queen) sympathetic, while at the same time continuing to show us how EVIL she is. So I guess she sort of loves Henry, kind of, in her weird, twisted way. And she kind of feels qualms about doing the evil stuff she does. But she still does the Evil!
This woman has killed hundreds, if not thousands, of people, including a whole village and her own father, the only person who cared about her. At the very least she should be locked up in the Storybrooke jail.
Also, I don't buy that Mary Margaret has any sort of black anything on her heart for indirectly killing Cora because Cora was even more evil than Regina, and, really, Mary Margaret was doing everyone in every world a big favor.
ALSO, I have a general beef with this show for RUINING Maleficent, who is the best villain in the Disney world and is not some lame-o, untalented witch hack with frizzy blond hair!
Okay, I'm done with this ridiculous post. Thank you for letting me get it off my chest.
