This site has about 47 million crock pot recipes, and a lot of them sound really good. I might just start working my way through the list, making a couple recipes a week.

Eve, yeah they do kind of all taste the same. I tried to get creative with curry a couple of weeks ago, but the result was...odd. Jason and his brother gamely wolfed it down, but then they like food in general. I should probably stick to recipes when it comes to the crockpot.
I can't remember about the blowtorch but I do remember that Rachael Ray's peeps devised two crockpot curry recipes for her to take home, and when she tried them at home she said they were awesome on her blog.
