No, not mine, but I am gloriously happy for them!
My Dad: for Father's Day he got a permanent job doing his computer magic at a university in the Chicagoland area. This means a consistent paycheck, no more worrying about the contract ending, excellent benefits, and 23 holidays a year (the joys of working for an educational system). I am so happy for him and my mom and the stability this will bring to their lives.
Jenn (aka my best friend since high school, Jenevieve, Tucson Jenn, LA Jenn, Santa Cruz Jenn, the bride to our bridesmaid posse): after finishing her PhD last year and post-docking it this year, just got her dream job at a California university, which means she can actually live with her husband for the next three years, versus across the country from him like this past year.
All I have to say is, Yay!
