So I don't know if you know this, but curly-ish hair is very easy. I don't care what all of you curly-haired people say with your, "I can't get it to do anything" and "It's frizzy" whining. Because here's the thing. My hair is super frizzy and it's NOT curly. So in humid weather I have a perpetual halo of frizzies. I had a spiral perm throughout high school and it was the easiest hairstyle I've ever had in my life.
Until now.
I'm in Boston for the holiday and I didn't even bring my hair dryer with me. I just bought mousse (Garnier Curl Construct, if you're curious) and my fingers for scrunching. I hop out of the shower, squirt some mousse in my hands, scrunch scrunch scrunch, and I'm good to go. It's probably too casual for, say, a job interview, but I am loving it. Plus, I feel that it adds to my sassiness quotient, which I feel has been lacking a bit since I stopped being a redhead (or auburnhead) last summer.
Also my boyfriend thinks it's cute, and you know that's the only reason I do anything ever.

Where's a photo? ;) Sounds perfect though, I love wash and go hair.
Glad you found a hair solution, but please know that permed curls are very different than natural curls. I admit there are times when my hair might be easier than other hair types, but there's also plenty of times where I wish I could just run a brush through it when I'm running late or I have no hot water.
Aimee, since my computer is dead photos are on hiatus for the moment. I'll try to get one eventually.
G, my problem is that since my hair is straight/wavy/curly, there's no running a brush through it and going for me either. I wish it would make up it's mind and be either straight or curly.
Kristine, you just need to tease out your bangs a few more inches and then you'll be all set for a Bon Jovi and/or Bruce Springsteen concert.
