Honestly the movie was amazing. I just got back from seeing it and I laughed, I cried, I was totally tense for a good 2 hours. Christian Bale, Michael Caine, and Morgan Freeman were excellent. I know Katie Holmes has been getting "Yeah, she was there too" types of reviews, but I thought she did a good job. Her character wasn't huge after all, but she said what needed to be said very well.
I suggest that everyone go see this movie. Right now. Go.

Ooo! Husband and I are just back from seeing it at the local IMAX. It was so rockin' great I wanted to stay and see it again. And Mr. Bale is hot!
My husband thought it was good, but not great -- he thought the plot was weak the last 1/3. I didn't care. I loved the whole 2 hours and 20 minutes.
I envy you people.

Ezpy, I thought the last 1/3 was great and very comic booky. The whole Scarecrow thing was MESSED UP. Things that mess with your mind are scary.

I loved the film, just got back from seeing it for the second time in 3 nights. Totally agree. By the way, hi Kelly! Like the blog.
It *was* really fun in IMAX. I saw it at the local IMAX, too. It makes me want to go see a real Imax movie, though--Batman was just really big (which startled me to no end when big noises and scary things happened), but it's got to be so cool to feel like you're cliff jumping with the cliff divers or flying in the airplane with the pilot.
But I heartily agree on the movie. SO good.
