Sunkist

Shut up!! Sunkist Orange has caffeine? I just read an article in Marie Claire (or maybe it was Self. Or Glamour. did I mention I ADORE trashy magazines when I'm on vacation?) about the caffeine content in various drinks. Who decided to put caffeine in orange soda? Caffeine seems like an integral element to colas, and I can even see the Barq's root beer connection since it's brown like a cola, but orange soda seems out in left field. I don't claim to be an orthodox Mormon - I drink soda with caffeine ( I know, you're shocked and appalled). However, since I'm on the whole weight-loss trend, I'm trying to keep as little caffeine in my diet as possible. A doctor told me that caffeine stimulates the appetite, as well as other things, which I definitely don't want. The Saturday before I came to Chicago I did laundry at my local laundromat in between studying. I didn't have a chance to eat breakfast and it was coming up on noon and I thought I'd just buy a soda out of the vending machine to get some filler calories in me. What did I buy? Sunkist. Those soda guys are tricky.

And how exactly did I get to be 28 and not know about the caffeine in Sunkist?
