OK, so I didn't get to my paper today, but I did manage to get two of my backed-up Corporations assignments read. It's progress, even if it's lame-o, not enough progress.
After sleeping for 8 1/2 hours last night I realized, hey, I'm tired. This semester has worn me out. I am so looking forward to flying to Chicago on the 21st and relaxing for 8 days. Oh except for the days my mom has set aside for mandatory baking. Every couple of years she gets a bee in her bonnet about us baking like crazy for Christmas, which usually translates into her supervising as I bake up 9 or 10 different types of cookies. My parents used to have doormen we could distribute to, but now they live in the suburbs. 2 years ago, we sent the majority of the cookies to my now ex-boyfriend who was on a mission. I don't know if he and his companion even got through them all. Who knows who we'll give them all to this year. The horses at the stables down the street? My mom became the baking taskmaster once she acquired Big Red - her KitchenAid mixer. She loves to supervise.
