Well, I've discovered the secret to reigniting the curl in my hair. When I was little I had curly hair, but it straightened into a semi-wavy state. I blow dry it straight and smooth it out with Matrix Simply Straight smoothing serum (I get no money for product endorsements. Although I feel I should, really) I actually have some random ringlets around my forehead and at the nape of my neck.
So I went to the beach today and dove in and out of the waves a bit, despite the man-o-war warnings. My take on that is, if there are three 10 year-old boys boogie boarding where the waves break and they're not intermittently screaming in agony, I figure there can't be a lot of jellyfish out there.
I let my hair air dry and now it's bouncy and curly, albeit a bit frizzy. Why can't I dip my head in the ocean every day? My hair would be so cute!
Oh and I did not kill anyone in the Suburban today. Hurrah! However, I had to do about a 7 point turn to get into the tiny little shopping center parking space so I could buy a Jamba Juice. I said several little prayers that I wouldn't scrape the teal Mitsubishi on the right side of me because I have no depth perception in that thing and know that I am at least 4 times bigger than the nearest SUV. Except for the Hummer that pulled in as I was leaving.

Driving a 'Burban, are you? I wonder how your faithful Bunny the Ford Focus waiting patiently in Boston will feel about your new automotive steed. Bunny has to be feeling a little bit self-conscious about now, with the steady march of recalls affecting her. Buried in snow on the side of a deserted Boston roadway. But instead of offering Bunny some support you jet off to Florida and have an extended liason with this, this, this ... Chevrolet! You should just be sure to get that "new car" smell out of your clothes before you come back, to spare Bunny any knowledge of your dalliance with this stronger, more virile automobile. Poor Bunny.

Bunny knows I love her and will always come back. Maybe I'll buy her a bobble head dog so she knows I love her and I'll never do it again, I swear, baby.
