Head

I've discovered that I like knitting hats. Over on Ravelry, I noticed that a bunch of the other hat knitters had these styrofoam heads to model their hats. I thought that was a quite an investment into the hat-making endeavor, and also had no idea where one would get a head. So I've been using roughly head-size balloons to block my hats.

Saturday I discovered that if you need a styrofoam head, you go to Savers, where they have a huge display of heads. For $4 each.

Everyone, meet Bronwyn:
Here she is modeling one of my recent creations:

You crack me up. :) Nice choice of name, by the way.

:) That's fun. I bet it's nice to see your hat on a head-look-a-like than on a baloon. Do you find they *block* better on this?

How beautiful! I hope one day I can learn how to do that as well!

Love you!
