It's A Small World

Do you just reach a point in your life where you've met everyone you're going to meet so they start recylcling through again?

I just discovered that a guy who I lived next to in a dorm at Middlebury College 10 years ago is in my Criminal Law class. And he's a 2L which means he's been here a whole year and we never bumped into each other. Dave made my day on my 18th birthday by writing Happy Birthday to You in Spanish on my dry erase board hanging on the dorm room door. He also reminded me today that my psycho roommate's shorn-headed boyfriend was dubbed "Scar" by the guys in our hall. Good times.

Interesting concept. I went to BYU and of the 30,000 people who go to that school I only met about 1,000. Why is it that those are the same 1,000 people I always see, even if I'm just in Provo for the weekend? It's strange.

Yeah it started a few years ago when I was in Provo for a friend's wedding. I've only been in Provo that one time, for two days. While there I bumped into the elder brother of my best friend when I was four and lived in Tennessee. Turns out he was in my friend's BYU ward when they were in undergrad. Since then, the world has become smaller and smaller.
